Help a Wounded Marine

I got this email from my dad, who is also a Marine. If you can help or know anyone else who can help, feel free to pass along.

Subject: Help Renovate Wounded Marine’s Home

Help Renovate Wounded Marine’s Home

Joshua Himan, a 25-year-old Marine, suffered severe injuries when his

Humvee hit an improvised explosive device in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, in September of 2009.

The resulting explosion left him paralyzed from the chest down. While Joshua is expected to complete his outpatient care at Walter Reed Army Medical Center  at the end of March, his parents’ house must be modified and made accessible before their son can come home.
TASC is working with others in the community to build an addition for the Himan family that will outfit their multi-level home with an accessible bathroom, wide doorways and hallways and a master suite with sufficient space for Joshua. Joshua has spent almost 18 months in various hospital rooms, and so our goal is simple: Bring Corporal Himan home.

All TASC employees, teammates, family and friends are invited to participate.
