 Lexington Police Prepare In Case Severe Storms Hit Wednesday Afternoon

    • Officials Prepare As More Severe Weather Expected Wednesday

Lexington Police held a press conference Wednesday and said that they are on stand by, preparing for the impending storms that are expected to hit late Wednesday afternoon.

Lexington Police said no trees are down, traffic has not been affected, no accidents and there no high water from storms earlier Wednesday.

They said they will have extra patrols out Wednesday afternoon prepared to man lights that are out. Police also wanted to remind everyone not to drive through high water, if you come up to a light that’s out treat it as a 4-way stop, and remember to slow down.
