WHEW! That was a hike… to say the least. LEX-18 sponsored the first ever “Urban Mountain Challenge,” where we climbed 29 floors, all the way up the Fifth Thirds building in downtown Lexington. Yes, 29 floors. I finished in 6:20 minutes – not the winner, but I wasn’t last either. More than 300 folks make the trek – all benefiting UK College of Communications and Downtown Lexington Corporation Foundation. Can’t wait until next year!
1.28.12: 29 Floors. 638 Stairs.
Congratulations to the Urban Mountain Challenge 2012 winners! In addition to awards, overall male and female winners will recieve a 12-month Urban Active membership, top male and female public safety winners will receive a 3-month Urban Active membership, and top male and female in each age division will receive a 3-month Urban Active membership!
