As the search for a missing teenager in Madison County continues, members of the community have stepped up to help.
Police say 18-year-old Brookelyn Farthing left a party Friday night and went to a friend’s house along Dillon Court in Berea. Investigators say that friend told them he left the house for awhile early Saturday morning, and when he returned, Farthing was gone and there was a fire burning inside his home.
Tina Parks helped spearhead an effort to start a reward fund for anyone coming forward with tips leading police to the missing teen.
“I just know if it was my child, I would want my community to help. Ya know? There’s no leads. It’s just heartbreaking,” she said.
You can make donations to the fund at any Peoples Bank in Madison County.
