No, I’m not going to post my dress on here…but I do have to share my experience. My best friend and matron of honor, Kendall, organized a special day of dress shopping in Nashville.
First stop – The Bride Room! What a beautiful shop – we will most definitely be getting our bridesmaid’s dresses there. My girls will look gorgeous in the navy Amsale floor-length gowns. Wedding dresses? I found 2 I am still dreaming of…
Second stop – Arzelle’s. This shop had the most dresses out of any store we visited. I tried on about 20 at this boutique alone! I found 1 dress at this spot I am in love with… still deciding, but it.was.stunning.
Third and final stop – b Hughes. This boutique had gowns from Miss Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta, Romona Keveza. I found 3 here I can’t get out of my head… How is a girl supposed to choose? Can’t I pick a few?!
I have always wanted to incorporate a vintage-feel to my wedding…and although I want my OWN gown, I love the idea of wearing a dress from family. My grandmother, Meme`, was a beautiful, classy woman…and the dress she wore when she married my grandfather 64 years ago is both of those things. So, I’m going to try to make it work for my rehearsal dinner! How gorgeous is it? So retro!
