Wizards lose, DC still #Rising

So the Wizards loss… but #DCRising is catching on…and people in DC are more excited than ever for their Wizards. Proof: Chinatown is alive and well, musicians and artists posting up outside the Verizon Center, people flocking to watch the game OUTSIDE the Verizon Center (pics below) and even after a loss, smiles were everywhere.

The coolest part of the evening – when hundreds of people sat outside the Verizon Center to watch the game on the big screen. They sat on the steps of the Smithsonian Portrait Gallery – how DC is that? I interviewed a few people sitting out there cheering together together and enjoying the evening…some, total strangers at the beginning of the night.
