I was *honored* to be an honorary model in the 8th annual Fashion for Paws Saturday night! I walked with a friend’s dog, the gorgeous Miss Chloe. Over the years, I’ve raised more than $60,000 for WHS and this is my 6th year with F4P.
Fashionable pups and their owners strutted their stuff down the catwalk Saturday night, all for the Washington Humane Society. F4P was held at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, with hundreds of human guests — but the real guests of honor were the ones on four legs: The dogs.
Fundraising models worked for months to raise money to be styled by Tysons Galleria and given the chance to walk down the runway with their pup, also dressed to the 9’s.
Dogs up for adoption walked around the event with “Adopt Me” signs, tails wagging and ready for their forever home. Cats weren’t forgotten, although no felines were there, the tables were adorned with pictures of “Cat Ambassadors,” who were up for adoption.
The top fundraising model and Model Washingtonian of the Year was Donald Hoffman, who raised $29,585.00. In second place was Lynnette Megginson who brought in $22,975.00 and Tara Kovalski who raised $16,501.03.
In all, the event raised more than $390,000 for the homeless animals for the D.C. area.

And here’s a look back at the past 5 years I’ve done Fashion for Paws!
