Every now and then, you just need to get away. It doesn’t have to be somewhere far away, it just needs to be somewhere else. Quiet. Calm. Just, away.
I found that spot – and it’s just a few hours south of the DC area in Meadows of Dan, Virginia: Called Primland.
It’s in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. But there’s nothing primitive about this place – it’s pristine.
We gathered up a few friends and Reggie White (the dog) for a quick trip. We grilled out in our fabulous cabin overlooking the mountains, shot skeet, hiked, and even had a delicious chef-tasting dinner at the Chef’s Table.
There’s so much to do, and also – plenty not to do.
