I could eat pizza every day and not get sick of it. This is not an exaggeration. But unfortunately for me, pizza is not healthy and should not be consumed every day.
I’m trying to cut back on my pizza consumption, you know, carbs and fat and all. But for those days when the pizza cravings are all-too-real, I found a way to make it a little less guilt-inducing.
Cauliflower pizza crust! OK so you’ve probably heard of it before, smashing cauliflower to make a low-carb pizza crust. But have you actually tried to do it? I have. It did not turn out well. To call it unappetizing is an understatement. It was not edible.
So when I was scrolling through my Instagram feed the other day — and a pre-made cauliflower pizza crust popped up – I double-tapped and placed that order.
I think there are several companies like this out there – and I can’t vouch for all of them, but I am a fan of Cali’flour. They arrive on your door step already made, you just have to pop them in the oven for a few minutes, then add toppings and repeat for 10 minutes.
Pizza fans, you’re welcome.
